Goals

The driving goal of MM 0.6 is to rework the D-Bus API to better support multi-mode devices that support one two or more of GSM/UMTS, CDMA/EVDO, and LTE. The current D-Bus API is not sufficiently flexible to permit easy use of these devices. Secondary goals include flattening the API by re-arranging various interfaces and combining others to allow clients to perform the same operations with less code.
